Russet Burbank has long been a favorite in home gardens. It produces large, elongated tubers with lightly russeted skin, shallow eyes, and fluffy white flesh. This variety is excellent for steaming, baking, making potato pancakes, or thick-cut oven fries. It stores well through the winter thanks to its extended dormancy period. Russet Burbank is also resistant to common scab and offers high yields, making it ideal for smaller gardens.
